VLADIMIR BOGDANOVIĆ was born in 1940, in Belgrade. He finished Secondary school of applied arts in 1961, in Zagreb and graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in 1967, in Belgrade with Professor Radeta Stankovic and Assistant professor Bogoljub Teofanovic. Bogdanović paints, draws, illustrates and designs books and he is also a conserver and restorer. He worked at Matica srpska Gallery as a conserver-restorer and later as a consultant and Head of Department for conservation and restoration. Bogdanović writes poetry and prose, essays, artistic and literary reviews and studies on the preservation of cultural heritage… He has published twelve books of poetry and prose. He has won over 20 awards in exhibitions of Yugoslav and Serbian fine and applied arts. Works of Vladimir Bogdanović can be found in numerous galleries, museums and private collections at home and abroad. He is a member of SULUV – Alliance Association of Fine Artists of Vojvodina, UPIDIV – Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Vojvodina and Writers Association of Vojvodina. In the period from 1969 to 2010 Bogdanović participated in more than 100 domestic and foreign art colonies.
